Tears in My Cornflakes

Lyrics

Steve Hartman is a journalist, reporting at large for CBS

And when I see his stories, I know that I.....will probably cry

Today I saw a YouTube video, a basketball team in El Paso

A disabled boy was on the floor, and they passed him the ball so he could score

Now there's tears in my cornflakes, I'm turnin’ it loose

Tears on my spoon and in my juice,

Tears in my cornflakes, tears on my pen

Tears in my cereal ....again

Oh I'm a big ball baby with a capital B,  Emotional wreck when I watch TV

When I see a story, my tears are pending, Until I see that happy ending

The music swells and they find out,

That some nice people built'em a house

Then it's time to rock 'n' roll,

While I contaminate my bowl

Chorus

Bridge

Steve Hartman, you are a pro.....I just rare back, and let it go

Your stories are good, and so is the telling

But the kindness is just overwhelming
