In 2007, my step son Blaine and I decided to do something special for his mother, my pluperfect spousal unit Marie, for Mother's Day, by recording a slightly altered version of Tupelo Honey, in her honor. I changed the words to the last verse, and as you can hear on the very end of the recording, Blaine salutes his mom by saying, "Thanks Mom". Tissue alert.
